'Germany v Argentina: Part deux. This time it's a friendly'. But are you more interested in this or the England game? Let me know.
18.15 For the first time ever, Germany will be wearing four stars on the shirt. Nice.
18.00 Evening and welcome. The nights are drawing in and the children are back at school. Has it been a good summer for you? I think if you are German the answer is definitely "yes".
Germany and Argentina lock horns in a repeat of July's World Cup final but international retirements and injuries aplenty mean Joachim Low and Gerardo Martino have to field much-changed sides from that memorable night in Rio de Janeiro.
Less than two months on from their 1-0 triumph at the Maracana Stadium courtesy of Mario Gotze's extra-time goal, Germany face Argentina in a friendly in Düsseldorf. They must do so without a number of players who helped Die Mannschaft to a fourth World Cup triumph – including new skipper Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Captain Philipp Lahm, all-time leading goalscorer Miroslav Klose and stalwart defender Per Mertesacker all quit international football after Germany's World Cup win and Schweinsteiger, who was named as Lahm's successor at Tuesday's pre-match press conference, also misses out due to injury.
Schweinsteiger's appointment is no great surprise given his wealth of experience in national team colours and Low insists the Bayern Munich midfielder was the standout choice.
"I know I can always rely on him," Low, whose side play their first 2016 European Championship qualifier against Scotland in Dortmund on Sunday, said. "Just look at the World Cup final and how important he was.
"He has an immense level of experience and a high degree of acceptance within the team and from the coaches. He's a great communicator and that's important for the players."
On coping with the loss of Lahm, Klose and Mertesacker, the former Stuttgart and Fenerbahce boss added: "As a coach, you've just got to accept and respect their retirements.
"Obviously I would have liked to have carried on with them, but this is now a chance for younger players to come through and there are talented players out there who now have more chance to develop in preparation for the next step."
Former Barcelona boss Martino takes charge of Argentina for the first time after succeeding Alejandro Sabella and he too must do so without a whole host of players, including star forward and captain Lionel Messi.
The Barcelona maestro will miss the match with a hamstring strain and he is joined on the sidelines by Maxi Rodriguez (hamstring), Rodrigo Palacio (ankle), Ezequiel Garay (thigh). Ezequiel Lavezzi's back injury is still being evaluated.
